Our Payment Policies
Payment can be made by e-transfer, cheque or cash. Bingo credits will be added to your account in advance. Payment will be accepted in full, or by instalments when indicated in shopping cart at checkout.
If paying by instalments, instalments are due on first day your register within 24 hours, then the 4 other payments must be paid on the 20th of the following months. 5 Instalments are as follows - Day of registration, September 20th, October 20th, November 20th and December 20th.
If a member account is past due skater(s) will not be allowed on the ice until Skate Wheatley has proof of payment.
NSF Fees
NSF e-transfers or cheques will be subject to a $35 fee and skating will be interrupted until all outstanding payments are brought up to date.
Refunds
Refunds (minus Skate Canada fee) for registration will be provided for any reason up to and including two (2) weeks of the commencement of the program in which the skater was registered. All requests must be in writing. These requests are not subject to a prorated fee or Board approval.
Refunds will be calculated as follows: Total Amount of Fees Paid LESS Skate Canada Fee ($61.70), LESS $25 administration fee, LESS prorated amount of fees for sessions occurring prior to date of delivery of the written request for refund.
Refunds: Pre-CanSkate/CanSkate
Pre-CanSkate/CanSkate 1st Time Registration Refunds: Please note that we offer a “trial-period” for first time Pre-can and CanSkate registrations. We will allow up to 3 consecutive trial Saturdays from the time of registration to determine if your skater will be continuing in the program.
Refunds will be calculated as follows: Total Amount of Fees Paid LESS Skate Canada Fee ($61.70), LESS $25 administration fee.
Exceptional Circumstances
a) Medical Refund: A refund request for medical reasons will be considered, if the skater will not attend more than 6 consecutive sessions or 6 consecutive days of the program. The written request must be accompanied by a medical certificate. Skate Wheatley will keep the medical certificate in confidence and the document will only be used for the purposes of confirming the refund request.
b) Extraordinary reasons: Reasons beyond the control of the skater, including but not limited to serious illness in the family or moving from the area.
Make Up Sessions
We are unable to offer makeāup sessions. There will be no refunds due to lost time as a result of holidays, inclement weather, competitions, test days, play downs, tournaments or other events required for the operation of our club or of those with whom we share the Centre.
